Refund & Credit Policy
This policy explains how refunds, credits and booking fees work at SKINFORMED. Nothing in it affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Booking fees
Booking fees secure dedicated clinical time and are redeemed against your treatment on the day. They transfer freely to a rearranged appointment with 48 hours' notice or more, and are retained for late cancellations or missed appointments, as set out in our Cancellation Policy.
Completed treatments
Treatments are professional services, delivered with reasonable care and skill following an individual consultation. Once a treatment has been carried out, payment for it is not refundable because of a change of mind.
Individual results genuinely vary from person to person. A specific cosmetic outcome can never be guaranteed, and a result within the expected range for a treatment is not grounds for a refund. What you are always entitled to is honest advice, safe practice and properly delivered care.
If something isn't right
If you believe a treatment has not been delivered with reasonable care and skill, contact us promptly - see our Complaints Policy. Where a genuine service failure is identified, remedies may include corrective treatment, a partial or full refund, or credit, assessed fairly and in line with your legal rights.
Courses and packages
Where treatments are bought as a course or package, pricing reflects the full course. If a course is ended early, treatments already taken are recalculated at their individual prices, and any remaining balance is issued as clinic credit valid for 12 months.
Online bookings and cooling-off
Because appointments are booked for a specific date and time, the 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply to appointment bookings. Our Cancellation Policy applies instead.
Clinic credit
Credit issued by the clinic is valid for 12 months from issue, may be used against any treatment, and has no cash value.
